Ten Pounds of Methamphetamine Discovered in Lorton, Virginia Hotel Parking Lot
July 01, 2009
Topic: Virginia Legal News
On June 18, 2009, federal agents seized over 10 pounds of Meth in the parking lot of a Comfort Inn in Lorton, Virginia, within Fairfax County/Tysons Corner. Documents filed with the federal court (Alexandria Division of the Eastern District of Virginia), indicate that one suspect, from Alabama, and a second suspect of, of unknown origin, have been charged with conspiracy to distribute 500 or more grams of Methamphetamine. The sting operation was set up by Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) agents through a jailhouse informant who reportedly told authorities that a cell-mate was involved in the alleged conspiracy.
