A Virginia man was charged with Driving Under the Influence following an accident where he ran his sport utility vehicle off the highway killing his passenger.

The 26 year old man was charged with driving under the influence after being taken to the hospital for severe injuries following the crash. Neither he nor his passenger were wearing seatbelts.
